I think business is going well here for Macy's but it's still hard to see all the changes. Even seeing Mary Poppins this year was different than the past.

And yes it's so crazyto think that it was just 4 Turkey Days ago that we were in Sweden. Ahh how time flies!

Enjoy the holiday season!!!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36560567.post-1164570004597944842006-11-26T13:40:00.000-06:002006-11-26T13:40:00.000-06:00Hi again, "Simplicity"! Here in Chicago, there was recently a boycott in front of the Marshall Field's clock on State Street...did you hear about it? People dressed up in time-past outfits with signs to bring Marshall Field's back! Unfortunately, this just won't be happening. It really would have been smart for the Macy's people to just keep the name of Field's: business seems to be hurting most in the Chicago area where Field's was like a part of everyone's family history. As for me, I will go there only to buy Frangos as my part of the protest!
Hope you and yours had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Isn't it fun to think of you and Anne in Sweden four Thanksgivings ago and that's when she started looking at Jed in a new way???Lindahl News 2https://www.blogger.com/profile/08700696893724625242noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36560567.post-1164221521444405742006-11-22T12:52:00.000-06:002006-11-22T12:52:00.000-06:00I'm with you on the whole...Marshall Fields/Macy's...I'm with you on the whole...Marshall Fields/Macy's thing...For us MN folks it went from Dayton's to Marshall Fields to Macy's in three years. Oy!

Mary Poppins was fun though, I'm glad they are keeping some traditions!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
