Tiara? Check. Sash? Check. Scepter? Check.

Somehow I was voted in at work as Ms. Millennium after submitting a childhood picture, writing an essay, and performing in the talent contest as Marilyn Monroe. (I blogged about that in the late fall.) What does this mean? Absolutely nothing. Just a way of welcoming in our new computer catalog system. Just thought you would like to know. No curtsies necessary. No special throne or dwelling, no increase in income. But, if I wave at you with that special wave of royalty - palm out, fingers together slightly swaying - you will understand.

Congratulations Ms. Millennium! Enjoy the Crown and sceptor- what fun is that to have at work? I imagine the crown could become part of your daily wear!

Thanks, Witty. You are right that it is a crown (and thanks for making all my regalia!!!), but a tiara sounds so much more girlie, don't you think?

And, Melissa, if you ever want to borrow these accessories, let me know!

Oh Deb, I am so proud of you! Actually, my mother and I laughed and laughed when we saw your talent video. And the oscar goes to ... drum roll please ... Deb Lindahl for best rendition of an actress, singing a revised song to a once president and a now library software program - Yea! Cheers! Whistles! You make such a bright spot for all!
