These are some of my favorite memories of our trip to Guangzhou and Hong Kong...I am winding down on writing about the journey and didn't want to prepare an online slide show. Yet, I still couldn't ignore these gems. From here on out, think of this as a wordless picture book. Enjoy.

Love your pictures, Deb! Especially the last one... it looks so relaxing even though there is a very busy city life behind that park!
Timi, that last picture was from the center of Hong Kong in Hong Kong Park. It was a lovely oasis amidst the bustling city...and we LOVED it there!
Fantastic! My favorite was the one at the top of a building with the yellow railing. Though I'd really like captions for the yellow tent-looking things, and the one where Deb is preparing to take a very large step. :)
Fun to catch up on your trip. Loved the pictures and your journals. What an experience you had!
Hi Linnea. Sorry about the no captions...I am about China-ed out. The yellow railing is from the Sky Deck in HOng Kong. You take a two-car tram up the mountain, and the view of the city below is simply breath-taking.
The yellow tent things are replica Chinese lantersn from a boat cruise on the Pearl River.
The "very large step" is what the toilets are like - floor level. I didn't manage to get used to them...have you encountered any like these on your trip yet?
Hope you are having happy travels!
Marny, it was the trip of a lifetime! Has Tracy ever been to China? You haven't have you?
We need to get caught up sometime!
So great to see your pictures - I think that I recognized some of them. What a different, colorful place to be!
